A little about me

Hi, I’m Favour Lawrence.

I work with cloud infrastructure and DevOps, and lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time learning about AI agents, MCP servers, security, and how they fit into the systems we build.

I'm the kind of person who wants to understand what's happening behind the scenes. Not just how to get something working, but why it works, what happens when it breaks, how it's secured, and what I might be missing.

Why I keep this garden

This garden is where I keep track of that process.

You'll find notes from things I'm studying, experiments I'm working on, concepts that took me a while to understand, and ideas I want to explore further. Some entries will be detailed explanations; others might just be questions or rough thoughts I don't want to lose.

What I’m exploring

I'm exploring Go, Kubernetes, cloud architecture, security, and AI engineering. I'm interested in how these pieces connect, from building reliable infrastructure and securing systems to understanding how AI agents use tools and interact with the world around them.

Learning through writing

I don't expect to have everything figured out before I write about it. Sometimes writing is how I figure things out in the first place.

I want this to be a place I can return to months or years from now and see how my thinking has changed.

If something here helps you understand a concept or look at a problem differently, even better.

That's pretty much it. Just me, learning, building, breaking things, asking questions, and writing down what I find along the way.
